business, but for the purpose of branding, change
is bad. You don´t want to be constantly changing your
logo or color theme . . .this will just confuse people
and takes away from any branding you´ve tried to do.
Branding takes a lot of work and is often more
successful if you plan out your marketing ahead of
time.

Direct mail was the method of reaching the masses
long before email became popular and to this day,
it is a useful technique. However, direct mail for
small business can be very expensive and often out
of budget for any business that can´t afford upwards
of $10,000 for a direct mail campaign. There are
a few things you can do to keep costs down, though.
Check
out these ideas for managing the cost of direct
mail.

The headline on your small business press release
is often what determines if it will be read and
considered for publication or not. You want a headline

Let´s say you have a small business website for
your offline business. Article marketing has two
main benefits, backlinks and publicity. The publicity
comes from a short bio at the end of each article
that you submit to an article directory. Most article
directories, like EzineArticles, have high PageRank
and get their content ranked quickly in Google.
That is good article marketing. Article
marketing can be an effective method of business
publicity for free.

the real world, too. Read
